Bishop, Jack Tempchin, Marcus Eaton, and James Lee Stanley join forces for a night of music and stories in Downtown Los Angeles

To mark the 50th anniversary of Stephen Bishop’s album Careless, Bishop, Jack Tempchin, Marcus Eaton, and James Lee Stanley gathered for a performance and Q&A at the Clive Davis Theater in Downtown Los Angeles. It was Bishop’s first performance in seven years. His last appearance at the venue was in 2019.

Bishop’s wife, Liz Kamlet (Liz the music manager), moderated the conversation. Careless features a roster of music icons and studio legends, including Eric Clapton, Larry Carlton, Lee Ritenour, Chaka Khan, Art Garfunkel, Tommy Tedesco, Russ Kunkel, Larry Knechtel, and Max Bennett.
